What are the bed dimensions?
The Cozy Cott Original measures 150 × 80 × 150 cm (length × width × height), according to our product documentation. Measure the room, doors and stairwell yourself before you order. The matching mattress is 70 × 140 cm.
How does delivery work?
Every bed is made to order. Allow about 2 to 4 weeks to the front door, with GLS. Often several parcels, sometimes on different days. Delivery to the ground-floor door. Standard shipping is free to the countries on our list — not to the UK or Northern Ireland.
Can I return the bed?
30-day cooling-off after receipt if the product is unused and in the original packaging. Email info@cozycott.com first. If you change your mind, return shipping is yours. Only the terms are binding — not this chat.
Can I change the ladder later?
You choose ladder left or right when you order. That is a standard option, not bespoke work. After production starts we do not change the side for free.
Which mattress fits?
The bed is sold without a mattress. The Original takes a 70 × 140 cm mattress, about 8 cm thick. You buy that separately, from any shop you like.
Do I assemble the bed myself?
You assemble the bed yourself. After ordering we email the manual; a printed copy also comes with the delivery. Damage from incorrect assembly is yours unless the manual is wrong.
What wood is the bed made of?
The bed is pine plywood, made in Europe. Rounded edges. Our current site states FSC-certified wood; we only show certificates when we can evidence them per batch. Two finishes: natural and white.
How does the bed grow with them?
Two setups: first baby in the cot on top and toddler or preschooler below; later preschooler on top and toddler below. Meant for about ages 0 to 5+, two children in one room.
What if something is missing or damaged?
If something is missing or damaged on delivery: email photos, order number and the part number from the manual to info@cozycott.com. If you damaged it in use, we can look at supplying a part — that is not an automatic promise.
Is this Dutch design?
The Cozy Cott Original won the Baby Innovation Award in Furniture & Deco. It is Dutch design, made in Europe.
