Wood

We work with pine plywood: strong, stable, and recognisable by the warm layers in the edge. Our current site states FSC-certified wood. We only show certificates when we can evidence them per batch.

Finish

Two quiet choices: natural, with visible grain, and white. Some parents later paint the natural bed with child-safe paint. Only do this when the paint is fully dry, and before assembly.

Production

Every bed is made to order in Europe. That keeps stock low and makes replacement parts a conversation we can have.

Longevity

The most sustainable bed is the one you do not replace. Original grows from baby to preschooler. Damaged parts can often be reordered — email photos and the part number from the manual.
